With snow on the ground and cold temperatures, it is hard to think about summer. However, summer will be here before we realize it. I am looking forward to our summer Children’s Ministry activities. It should be a great summer for growth and learning. Here is an update on three big summer events. Drama Camp – June 21 – 25. This is a chance for children 2nd grade and up to prepare and present a children’s musical. Each morning they will practice and also learn skills in drama and music. On Friday afternoon they will perform the musical for family and friends.
Junior Camp – June 28 – July 1. Children entering the 4th – 7th grades have the opportunity of spending 4 days at Mizpah. Games, crafts, water sports, and many other great activities will create a fun atmosphere while campers learn more about their Creator.
Vacation Bible School – July 12-16. Children can expect a great time as we travel on a High Seas Expedition. The adventure runs from 9:30 – 12:00 noon each morning for boys and girls age 4 – 6th grade. Each participant will have a boatload of fun while plunging into the Bible and learning about God’s love and faithfulness.
We are always looking for volunteers who would be willing to share some of their time and love for kids as part of our Children’s Ministry team.
